when the hunter becomes the hunted
How to Catch a Hare is not a book with a narrative. It is rather a compilation of imagery of various landscapes, moments in time and emotions, that chronicle my journey towards and through the Tentsmuir Forest, Dundee. The concept was born from my need to capture certain feelings I had bottled up. The book in itself is a palindrome and therefor can be read both ways. The reader is welcome to interpret the imagery in whatever way they see fit.
So... What is it that you are chasing? A feeling perhaps? Happiness? Love? Peace?
What do you long for? A person? Someone you miss dearly?
Perhaps you’re not actually chasing something, but instead you’re running away?
What answers are you trying to find? Why are you spending all this time and effort to find this thing you seek?
Why are you looking in all these places, forgetting the most important one.
Take a deep breath. Look around. Look within.
